Modelling Approaches to Guide Intelligent surveillance for the sustainable Introduction of novel ANtibiotics
Welcome
Using advanced data science and machine learning techniques to support the sustainable introduction of novel class and last-resort antimicrobial drugs, that is the mission of JPIAMR-project MAGIcIAN.
The MAGIcIAN consortium brings together five academic and public health institutes from Italy, Latvia, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany from the fields of AMR, mathematics, and bioinformatics. MAGIcIAN stands for Modelling Approaches to Guide Intelligent surveillance for the sustainable Introduction of novel ANtibiotics. The MAGIcIAN consortium has received funding for three years and a no-cost extension for an additional year from the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial resistance (JPIAMR) to undertake this work.
